Holiday Gift Guide 2018

Editor’s Note: This post is sponsored – I was sent several complimentary items featured and all are marked as “c/o” throughout the post. All editorial and opinions are my own.

I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite holiday gifts and am so excited to share them with you today! Many of them would make wonderful hostess or bridesmaids gifts – lots of monogrammed, handcrafted and vintage wares perfect for the ladies in your life. Hope this guide gives you some fun ideas for your holiday shopping!

Ginger Jar (c/o) by The Blue Bee and Me

This darling shop has something for every blue-and-white loving gal out there. I love their selection of ginger jars and vases and the one they sent to me has definitely become the crown jewel of my mantel collection. Just tie a tartan plaid bow around the ginger jar lid and you’re ready to gift! The Blue Bee and Me also has gorgeous blue and white bowls, decorative plates and textiles – I love this vintage Blue Willow plate trimmed in gold leaf!

Vintage Candlestick Holders (c/o) by Finding Joy Vintage

Candlestick holders make such a fun and unique hostess gift (bonus points for including fun colored candles) and these vintage beauties (c/o) from Finding Joy Vintage definitely make my heart sing! There’s a similar pair available and I also have my eye on these adorable vintage ceramic fishnet bunnies and frog in the shop – too cute!

Monogrammed Tissue Cover (c/o) by Blue Bamboo Embroidery

Tissue covers make great hostess and bridesmaid gifts. Honestly, who wants to look at a ‘naked’ tissue box? Monogrammed covers not only dress up an otherwise ugly part of necessary decor but they create a personalized and beautiful accent piece. Blue Bamboo Embroidery has the prettiest linens and monogram designs and I love how this fun tissue cover (c/o) came out. I wanted a bright lemon yellow to contrast with our blue ginger jars and I find this pairing so refreshing.

Chinoiserie Monkey Cocktail Napkins (c/o) by Lemondaisy Design

Linen cocktail napkins are one of my favorite go-to gifts and these playful chinoiserie monkey napkins (c/o) strike just the right balance of fun and fancy. I like to mix these with our classic navy monogrammed cocktail napkins. Lemondaisy Design has a great selection of preppy and quirky napkins, towels, art and paper goods.

Stationery (c/o) by Sophie Puckett Paper

Monogrammed stationery will forever be a classic and will always make for a great holiday gift. I love the selection that Sophie Puckett Paper offers and these monogrammed white linen cards (c/o) are one of my all time favorites. They’re simple yet so tasteful and the texture is sublime. And the watercolor ginger jar Christmas gift stickers (c/o) are too cute for words! I can’t wait to use these this year and I love that they come in a sticker form – so easy!

Another favorite from Sophie Puckett Paper are these sky blue gingham cards (c/o). They’re so sweet! Make sure you check out their full line – they have a beautiful selection of preppy flat cards and gift tags.

Wreaths (c/o) by Maine Made Wreaths

Tell me, is there anything better at Christmas time than the smell of freshly cut pine? Give me some fresh pine, a roaring fire and a moose mug of eggnog and I’m in holiday bliss. And since you can never have too many wreaths, a fresh Christmas pine wreath (c/o) from Maine Made Wreaths is the perfect way to send a holiday wish to someone you love. Sarah, the shop proprietress, handcrafts the wreaths from fresh long pine needles she finds around her Maine home. While I was tempted to hang this beauty on our front door, I decided to hang it in the living room just so we could enjoy that amazing pine scent. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and attention to detail in Sarah’s wreaths.

And if you’d rather give a non-perishable gift, Sarah has some beautiful wreaths that will last season after season. I particularly like the pinecone wreath (c/o) for the holidays. Sarah hand painted the tips a frosty white and the wreath comes with a beautiful country bow perfect for hanging. The blooming boxwood wreath (c/o) is another great non-perishable alternative. Handcrafted with vibrant wispy eucalyptus greenery and accented with a wired burlap bow, this wreath is ready for any season. I love the idea of changing up the bow as the seasons change – a cheery gingham for spring and summer, a moody velvet for autumn and a crisp tartan for winter.

Boxwood Topiary Door Hanger (c/o) by For Pete’s Sake Pottery

I was so excited to find this adorably unique topiary door hanger. Susan, the shop proprietress, customized the urn with a monogram for me and I think it is just the cutest thing! If you’re looking for that gift that will wow, this is it! And Susan also has the cutest chinoiserie section in her shop – so many cool things. I love these little plaid pumpkins.

Penny Phone Crossbody Bag (c/o) by GiGi New York

Is there a bride-to-be or a mom of little ones on your gift list this year? If so, I have a truly great gift recommendation for you – the phone crossbody bag (c/o) from GiGi New York is absolutely perfect for a prospective bride who will be busy running all those bridal errands or a mom who’s juggling both a baby and a diaper bag. The crossbody is chic enough to wear for a bachelorette party or rehearsal dinner but is slim and won’t get in the way of things. It’s sized to perfectly fit smart phones and has an interior credit card slot so it will securely tote your essentials while leaving your hands free to try on engagement rings, go to cake tastings, etc. I personally love the embossed python leather and, of course, the personalization (because I’m a monogram addict!). You may just want to order one for yourself! 😉
