Sarah and Carter spend lots of time on Nantucket as Carter’s family has a home on the island so it made perfect sense to have an island wedding. The two wed at the First Congregational Church followed by a cheerful petal toss leading to a 1970’s Land Rover that whisked the couple over to Brant Point Lighthouse for some iconic wedding shots. A classic Grey Lady fog rolled in to greet the reception party at The Westmoor Club which was decorated to perfection by Flowers on Chestnut and Nantucket Island Events. / Images by Katie Kaizer Photography.
Sarah & Carter’s Love Story | We were both teaching at an inner city school and I fell madly in love with the silly math teacher down the hall. Favorite memories? Our first dance, we thought it was a blast! We also loved the petal toss leaving the church and driving away in the old Range Rover. Advice? Take a moment to step away from everyone and have some time just the two of you together.Credits: Photographer: Katie Kaizer Photography | Wedding Coordinator: Maggie Stewart of Nantucket Island Events | Florals: Flowers on Chestnut | Videographer: Meg Simone Wedding Films | Bride’s dress and veil: Lelite Bridal | Groom’s Attire: Bonobos | Hair & Makeup: RJ Miller Salon | Bride’s shoes: Vince Camuto | Transportation: Rovers of Nantucket & Cranberry Transportation | Cake: Petticoat Row | Ceremony Venue: First Congregational Church | Wedding Venue: Westmoor Club | Tent: Nantucket Tents | Band: RickExpress | Rehearsal Dinner Catering: Nantucket Catering Company | Wedding stationery: Pixie Chicago on Etsy | Men’s ties: generalKnot
