Says Sarah, “We got married at the same venue where my parents had their reception so there was a cool feeling when we saw that venue. We originally said our colors were navy and gold but we ended up all over the place. The venue was gorgeous on its own and they helped tie it all together.
The bridesmaids were awesome about their dresses. Because I was in Florida, I missed out on a lot of the bonding experiences. They rented the styles, had a wine night and FaceTimed me to try them on so I got to choose styles and see them on them.
Sarah & Jason’s Love Story | We met in college at the University of South Florida. Jason proposed on Pass A Grill beach in St. Petersburg, Fla. He took me on a long walk and when we got back, a friend had put roses and champagne on our picnic towels. He got down on one knee and popped the question.
Advice? If you’re having a first look, give your mom a solid heads up. I think my mom was a little sad at the thought but the more we talked about logistics the more she came around to see it as a positive.
