Kathryn and Rory’s East Hampton wedding was a fine illustration of understated elegance. Their classic and refined color palette of blues and ivories set a romantic yet tailored tone and the divine paper goods by Cheree Berry were the proverbial cherr[ies] on top! / Images by Liz Banfield.
Says Kathryn, “Rory and I got engaged on [the club’s] ninth tee overlooking the ocean. We always wanted a beach wedding and [the club’s] setting perched up on the hill overlooking the water is truly unsurpassed.
Fun memory: One of the singers from the band at the wedding (Downtown Band from Hank Lane) was formerly with The Commodores and sang “Easy Like Sunday Morning” at the end of the reception.
The couple honeymooned to South Africa (Cape Town and safari at Kruger National Park) and Mauritius.
