Choosing our 2016 Christmas Card

Editor’s Note: This post is sponsored by Minted as the birth announcement featured in this post were sent to me complimentary in exchange for writing about them. All editorial and opinions are my own.

Since our little peanut just joined us a few months ago, J&I decided to forego the traditional holiday card this year and instead send out W’s birth announcements with a little Christmas message. It was so tough to choose just one photo from our newborn session but I love how they came out. We chose the Sweet Stripes Letterpress Birth Announcements from Minted and I adore how the texture and colors of the letterpress are reminiscent of blue and white striped seersucker. The pure cotton, slightly-textured, 118 lb weight paper feels substantial and luxurious at the same time. And my favorite part of ordering from Minted year after year is that I can store my address book on the site and opt to have our envelopes printed with both recipient addresses as well as our return address on the back flap. I can’t even begin to tell you what a lifesaver that is with a newborn in the house – it makes the process so much easier and it’s fun because the only “work” you have left is writing a personalized note on the back, sealing the envelope and sticking a stamp on the front.

Another streamlining option Minted offers is the ability to order customized stamps along with your cards. You can upload a personal photo to be printed on the stamps or choose from a stylish graphic Minted has ready to go. They also offer slip-in liners for envelopes (there’s even a glittery gold one!). That way, everything you need for your holiday cards arrives in one box. The best!Hope you enjoyed this peek at our holiday cards. Here’s a few other holiday designs from Minted that I love for the newlywed couple:
