Tropical Preppy Chic Wedding in Mexico

Tropical Preppy Chic Wedding in Mexico

Since she was a little girl, Amy had always dreamed about having a beach wedding. Little did she know that that dream would actually come true! Once she met Zach and he proposed, a destination wedding at El Dorado Royale in Mexico was soon in the works with Destination Weddings Travel Group. With blush, beige, and navy as their primary color palette and tropical preppy chic as their theme, Amy and Zach celebrated their union with 40 of their closest loved ones surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of Riviera Maya. / Images by Victor Villatoro Photography.Destination-Wedding-in-Mexico-00002

Says Amy, “When I was a little girl talking to my friends about our dream weddings I always said I would be married on the beach. I never actually thought it would happen. The whole wedding day still feels like a dream because of this. We chose El Dorado Royale because the pictures of the resort were absolutely beautiful. They also had the Memorable Moments wedding package which we loved. We picked Mexico because it’s one of our favorite destinations. You can find beauty all around the resorts in Mexico.Destination-Wedding-in-Mexico-00007
I used the colors that I’ve always wanted in a wedding: blush, beige and navy. My Grandmother made the bridesmaid bouquets and we decided to use nautical knots on the groomsmen suites instead of flowers. I also brought along personalized koozies and cups for our wedding favors.Destination-Wedding-in-Mexico-00020Destination-Wedding-in-Mexico-00019Destination-Wedding-in-Mexico-00042

Amy & Zach’s Love Story |We are both from the same small town in GA but actually met in college through a mutual friend. We then found out our houses in our small town were only a few miles apart.Destination-Wedding-in-Mexico-00044Destination-Wedding-in-Mexico-00054Destination-Wedding-in-Mexico-00032Destination-Wedding-in-Mexico-00036

My favorite part of the trip besides the wedding was having our closest friends and family with us in Mexico to celebrate. That is a once in a lifetime kind of deal.”
