Traditional Thanksgiving Tablescape

Traditional Thanksgiving Tablescape

Editor’s Note: This post was originally shared in November 2014 but I’m re-sharing the inspiration again this year!

My family’s coming into town this weekend for Thanksgiving and luckily, I was able to get a head start on decorating because FTD asked me to style a holiday tablescape around one of their current floral centerpieces and write up a post about it for their blog. I hope you’ll check out my full post for FTD – I included a step-by-step guide on re-creating this look along with a back story on some of my special pieces (including my Mom’s prized Le Jacquard Français linens). And here’s a few bonus photos I took that didn’t make it on FTD’s blog. / Images by Sarah Darcy of Classic Bride blog.

I used left-over wedding stationery (from 2008, people!!) to write out the menus! And a metallic gold Sharpie helped to add a little shimmer.

Images + styling by moi. I was compensated by FTD to write a post for their blog but the post you are reading right here is not sponsored.

Love the China blue patterns on the napkins. What a fresh combo with the rustic orange and browns of a traditional Thanksgiving table.
