A few weeks ago, I shared a tutorial on making organic coconut milk conditioner and today I thought I’d share its sister tutorial: organic castile soap shampoo! If you thought the conditioner was easy-as-pie to make, you’re going to fall over when you see how easy the shampoo is. And this shampoo/conditioner combo would make the cutest addition to bridesmaids’ beauty boxes or welcome baskets for guests!
– 1 part Castile Soap (I used Dr. Bronner’s in Lavender scent)
– 2 parts Water
– Dash of Baking Soda
– Ribbon and tag(s)
Optional: To make your shampoo more moisturizing, you could add a teaspoon or two of your favorite oil (jojoba would work well!).
Step 1 | Fill your bottle half-way with castile soap.
Step 4 | If you’re making these as gifts for your bridesmaids or wedding guests, tie a piece of ribbon (that coordinates with your wedding colors) around with a shipping tag and pen a sweet note. Alternatively, you could create custom sticker labels. I attached a rock candy stick with washi tape for added texture and appeal.
