At the end of the day, it’s always cooler to have something gorgeous and coveted by others but which eclipses the mainstream – which is why I love discovering talented independent designers and a big reason I adore vintage jewelry! Lucky for you, I have an amazing independent bridal designer to share today – Jaclyn Jordan New York. JJNY is an heirloom bridal accessories line offering meticulously hand made lace veils and sashes that are made to stun.

Jordan’s passion for creating and designing goes all the way back to learning to sew under her grandmother’s guidance. She produced her own fashion shows while still in high school and then majored in Fashion Design at SCAD. While studying, Jordan started her bridal career in 2005 as a stylist in a small bridal salon. It was during that time she developed her love of lace. She managed Savannah’s premier bridal salon, BleuBelle Bridal, while she was still in school. In 2009, Jordan moved to Atlanta to run the flagship store for bridal designer Heidi Elnora. Today, Jordan lives in NYC with her husband and is passionate about fulfilling brides dreams for their big day. She believes that “you are a woman in a beautiful dress until you wear a veil; then you are a bride.”
