CB’s Parisian Inspiration Shoot in Matchbook!

CB’s Parisian Inspiration Shoot in Matchbook!

In case you’ve been curious why I’ve been so guarded and tight-lipped about our Paris shoot, here’s the answer {finally!} – I had to keep it super-top-secret for the big February reveal of Matchbook magazine! Yes, my loves – CB made it in the pages of Matchbook – a whopping 16-page spread to boot! To say I’m beside myself with giddiness would be the understatement of the century. I mean, pinch me – it’s only my favorite magazine in the world! And Nate just makes the whole thing 10x better – love him, don’t you?

I love, love LOVE it! It is GORGEOUS!!!! I was about THISCLOSE to booking a Paris wedding last week but it just wasn’t meant to be!!! I may be going to Europe anyway this year and I hope if I do you could help me find some couples to photograph while I’m over there. (Just for fun, I’d donate my time. 🙂 I’m actually giving away a whole wedding right now, but it’s going a little slow. I never seen to have luck with contests!!!

This is so beautiful Sarah and I know you guys worked so hard on it. The photography is beautiful and I love how close and carefully, like, detailed out the shots are. Like there is something exciting going on in everything. It really is inspirational. It’s got me thinking about eloping again, should I ever dare date! LOL

I have to come back and say my favorite shots. I have two:

The stack of books in her hands. I love the leading lines, I love the repetition. I love the floral detailing on the spine of the books. Little things.

I love the pulled back shot of them kissing in front of the shop. I love the bike resting against the wall, I love the ferns in the windows. Not too contrived, but so beautifully and carefully planned, and so just Parisian.

    Beautiful job!

Thanks, Emily!! I had so much fun styling and modeling with my hubby. You should definitely shoot in Paris – it’s a magical experience. 🙂
