Fall Wedding DIY: Glittered Pumpkins

I love using natural elements to decorate throughout the seasons and pumpkins and gourds are my absolute favorites for autumnal decor. I’ve found that some brides shy away from including pumpkins in their fall weddings because they want to avoid creating a spooky Halloween-inspired vibe but I hope this quick tutorial will show you how perfectly bridal pumpkins can be!

Materials:

  • Pumpkin(s)
  • Glitter
  • Spray adhesive (or if you’re in a pinch, you can use clear nail polish like I did!)
  • Protective surface (I used poster board)

Directions:

Step One | Apply the spray adhesive to the area of the pumpkin you’d like covered in glitter.

Step Two | Sprinkle the glitter over the sprayed area and allow to dry.

I chose to only glitter a small portion of the pumpkins but you could cover the entire surface or choose a pattern or shape.
