Says the CSE team, “On a crisp October day, Leslie and Kevin got married in the heart of Germantown in Nashville, Tenn. Right from the start, Leslie knew exactly what she wanted her wedding to look like, which makes for an easier job for the wedding planner. Leslie’s requests for her wedding were shades of blue, various bows and comfort food for her guests to enjoy. With her husband by her side, it was a day that the blue-eyed bride would never forget.
The day started at The Church of Assumption with the entire family by the bride and grooms side. From the moment Leslie entered the church all eyes were on her. She wore a gorgeous gown that looked like it was designed just for her. With touches of lace, it was the perfect dress for Leslie to walk down the aisle in. The bridesmaids wore dresses of a darker shade of blue. Beautiful floral arrangements created by Rosemary & Finch accompanied the bridal party in the small, but elegant church.
Once the vows were exchanged, the bridal party went on their way to take pictures while the guests of the ceremony traveled to Laurelbrook Clubhouse. With fireplaces and open back porch windows, the clubhouse gave off a cozy and chic vibe for guests to feel most at home on that beautiful autumn day.
Floral arrangements in shades of blue and green were hung from the second story of the clubhouse. Rosemary & Finch added an enchanting element to the cool event by placing arrangements of different sizes all over the house. Once guests arrived to the reception they were able to help themselves to tables of pork sliders, mac & cheese, habanero BBQ beans, green beans and cheese biscuits served by Jim and Nicks BBQ. By the time the newlyweds arrived, there wasn’t an empty stomach in the house. Kevin and Leslie were escorted upstairs to their sweetheart table so they could share their first meal as Mister and Misses together.
Laughter and smiles filled the entire clubhouse. Once the couple finished their meal, the father of the bride shared a toast with the whole house wishing his best for the bride and groom as well as thanking friends and family. Following toasts, the couple shared their first dance as the sun was going down, and once they finished that was when the real party started. It didn’t matter how big or small the dance floor was for these wedding guests because they brought out their best dance moves.
The guests could either get their groove on or engage themselves in the s’mores bar. With plates of graham crackers, milk chocolate and marshmallows, everyone could entice their sweet tooth. S’mores were not the only dessert at the clubhouse that night. Dulce Desserts did not disappoint with their banana and caramel cake that was complete with a big blue bow per the bride’s request. It was the sweetest way to wrap up such a delightful day.
