Editor’s Note: As J&I are busy unpacking things here in Charlottesville, Va., I thought I’d re-share one of my favorite weeks on CB – French Week! 😉
I wanted to go out with a bang for the last installment of this series so I chose a dreamy chateau that could easily double as a castle for the venue. To counter the coldness of the grey stone, I added in lots of ruffles, feathers and frill to play up a feminine vibe. I imagine this couple would throw a huge fête, inviting everyone they know and dancing in one of the ornately decorated ballrooms until dawn. Late-night coffee + liqueur bars would be in abundance.
