Spanish Catholic Wedding in Solvang, Calif.

Emily and Fred wed in the spring in their hometown of Solvang, Calif., with green mountains and breathtaking landscape surrounding them. They chose a Spanish wedding theme because they both love the bold colors and associated history and held their ceremony at the old mission Santa Inez. / Photos by Lacie Hansen Photography.

classic_3 classic_5 classic_6We had a full Catholic ceremony with a mass, it was long.  I always feel like short ceremonies are not realistic.  Marriages are long and not always easy and therefore I feel a wedding ceremony when you’re committing your lives to each other should be longer than 10 minutes.  We had a mariachi band to stick with the Spanish theme and they were amazing.”
